Today, Murphy International flies the flag for Murphy in Ireland, offering services in civil engineering; highways and street works; ground engineering; water and wastewater; natural resources; and structural steel. Based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, Murphy International have nearly 400 skilled engineers, managers and operatives working across Ireland.

Firefly was used by Murphy International on phase two of the Corrib Gas Pipeline in Co. Mayo, Ireland. The Corrib project is one of the most significant engineering projects ever undertaken in Ireland. The tunnel is the longest in Ireland and the gas pipeline is the longest gas pipeline in Europe.
