Franklin Offshore Europe is the largest business unit within the Franklin Offshore Group with a prime location in Rotterdam, the largest port in Europe. Franklin’s facilities include a 42,000 square metre yard, 340 metres quayside length and 27,500 square metres of workshop floor. Franklin Offshore Europe offers a one-stop-shop combining mooring possibilities with delivery of products, services and logistics.

Firefly was awarded a contract by Franklin Offshore to complete the cutting, bevelling and welding of the leg extensions on Fred Olsen’s Bold Tern Windcarrier vessel. Firefly also worked on the sister ship, Brave Tern for Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven, Germany.
